Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Just wanted to tell you all Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Unfortunately my Christmas hasn't been all that merry until today. Day before Christmas Eve I had some muscle spams on the left side of my face and had to get rushed to the doctor. They couldn't determine what caused it so we just have to hope it doesn't happen again. Then Christmas eve I got really sick and pretty much made a disaster of the carpet in three rooms, sorry folks it wasn't intentional. Today is going to be a better day, had some food, took a couple of naps and checked out the birds. Hopefully it stays this way. Here is hoping that you are all having a wonderfully Merry Christmas and the New Year brings you only blessings! Love to all of you, Pumkin

And the good news is. . .

I am so doing my happy cat dance, I have lost 4 oz bringing me down to an even 17 lbs. Doctor Jim has reduced my insulin a full unit due to my weight loss and lower glucose numbers. I am pretty pleased with the current status of things! I also want to give a special hello and thank you for the Christmas wishes to Stella, Mabel and Psycho! You all rock! I just wanted to pass on the good news that you can go backwards in the right direction with feline diabetes, I was having my doubts for a while. So I am going to resume my afternoon nap, but I wish you all a Meowy Christmas and Purrrfect New Year! Peace out from the peaceful Pumkin! Love ya all!

I am not a black hole of need, I just had a bad week

What do you expect when you bring strange people in and they make strange and loud noises. I find the safest place I can go to, usually under the bed. It has not been a good week for me, strange people two days in a row and too much noise. I did learn I like turkey last week, but did I get more than I bite or two. Hamburger you can keep, it ain't all that. I did enjoy the canned cat food that I got to try, maybe I can get some more of that. BIG HINT!!!!! I don't think I ask much, feed me (often!!), give me my insulin shots, pet me, give me kisses and clean the litter box, not much to ask in my opinion. I can't do it myself. Okay my friends thank you for listening to what I have to deal with, I guess it is good that I love these people. It takes a lot of patience to deal with the human population, I wish they spoke cat but the language is beyond thier comprehension. Love ya all!
