It's All Good News

I've lost 2 oz and the glucose levels were good, YAHOO! I needed the boost. I don't have to check glucose levels for a month, so no pin pricks to the ear for four whole weeks. The diet does continue, but at least it seems to be working. I made some new friends last week that came through on a visit and even met a bunny for the first time. I'm also hearing some word that I maybe meeting a new friend recommended by Dr. Jim, but I don't really have details. I will update all of you when I know more about that. But for now life is good, especially since I get to stay in the air conditioning. Hope you are all well and that life is good for you too. Peace out from the Pumkin Patch!!

Good News!

Got the good news yesterday that the blood sugar is right on (between 70 and 101). That doesn't get me out of the diet, that's the only bummer. Dr. Jim said to leave everything just the way it is. I was kind of sweating it after the last numbers, thought we might have to increase the insulin. Had quite the eventful week last week with visitors, got to met 3 really nice young ladies that came down to visit. That really wiped me out, but it was fun. They came down with Kris to hang out for a few days. Really didn't mean to scare them when they couldn't find me, I sleep pretty hard and didn't hear them from the back corner of the closet. Happy 4th of July!!

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July and update everybody. Things are going pretty much ok. Blood sugar was a little high, but we are leaving things like they are for the time being to see if it drops back down. Inspite of the diet I gained 2 oz, which doesn't seem like a lot but on me it is or so I am told. I have a new friend named Tiger, he doesn't talk much. In fact he does less than me, like nothing but sit there. He is a Karate Kat, yet I haven't seen him doing any Karate. I spent my holiday just chillin' in the A/C, these 100 degree days are not my cup of tea considering I wear a fur coat all year round. That's my update for now.
