Guess Animal Planet isn't gonna call

So much at my attempt at Television stardom, but oh well it was worth a try. Pretty nice weekend watching all the birds and napping. I been feeling pretty good these days since the glucose is under control. Would be even better if it weren't for this diet stuff and it doesn't look like that is going away anytime soon. Had a good visit with a friend who hadn't been over to visit for a while, that was nice. We had a cold front come through Saturday night, so I have my special sleeping quilt back on the bed. It's been nice and peaceful in Pumkinland lately, hope it has been the same for you all too. Peace out for Planet Pumkin and my best wishes to all!

I want my 15 minutes of fame!!

I was sleeping in my recliner this weekend with Animal Planet on and they ran this marathon of a show called "Must Love Cats". Some of it was pretty goofy, like the guys singing and playing guitar and some of it was pretty cool, like the cat with the prostetic leg. I think I should be able to be on this show as the poster cat for Feline Diabetes. How do you get on this thing, my story is a pretty good one. Eleven year old slightly over weight guy starts showing classic symptoms, drink and going a lot. Well trained owners notice and take action. Going through all the hoops trying to control the glucose with diet, then glypizide and now insulin. Finally, getting the mix of weight, diet and insulin correct. Plus, I think I'm a pretty good looking cat. I would make good TV. Hey, Animal Planet people!! Notice me!!! Thank you for listening to my rant for the day. Hope you all are well. Things here are good, can finally open the window and watch my birds. Peace out from Pumkinland!!

And the good news is . . .

When to see the Doc today and the good news would be the lump that I have been messing with appears to be a spider bite, got some primo anti-biotic cream to put on it to prevent any infection. My glucose levels are awesome!! The bummer is that I've put on weight in spite of the diet (17 lbs now) and that the bill with my shopping list was big. I needed needles, insulin and food. The only concern with the bite and infection is that an infection can throw off my glucose levels. Don't wanna go back there. To the girls and Psycho, thank you ladies for thinking of my and Psycho, dude I know you got my back! I am very relived that the lump thing ended up the way it did, I was shaking in my fur on that one. Don't want to be doing any of that cut and paste on my body. Sorry I couldn't post last night, the paws don't work on the woman's phone. One of them silly touch things and with my paws I touch everything. Thanks everyone for your support and love ya all!! Peace out for planet Pumkin!
